Biography
“One of the most animated, energetic and captivating improv teams I’ve ever seen.” // Ken's Mom

David Nadolski has been doing improvisation for the last eleven years... which in the world of Improv makes him aboooooouuut 100. That makes Dave a little nervous but at least he's not the dinosaurs that Ken and Uncle Dave are so this gives him hope... for now. A conservatory graduate of the Second City, Dave actually graduated in the same class as Cecily Strong of SNL fame and has been swearing he'd eventually get there himself while regularly checking his phone "just in case" ever since. In the meantime Dave has been the founder and CEO of OMG improv and he regularly enjoys his supreme power trip until quickly put in his place by any given member of OMG! Improv... and sometimes their relatives too. By Day, Dave works in Medical Sales for Merit Sleep Labs so that by night he can keep his audience fresh and awake... one person at a time. Dave is an Adjunct Professor of Communication at Oakton Community College. Dave is the founder of OMG! Improv and a founding member of the Free Beer! Comedy Band, a Pisces and thoroughly enjoys referring to himself in third person. Dave thanks you for reading and for liking us on Facebook in advance.

Raised in a boring town in middle Michigan, Kate Nadolski had no option but to learn how to entertain herself. Though others found her failure in athletics to be pretty entertaining, she steered toward making the crowd's laughter actually intentional. She began as a large Tucan bird in Peter Pan at the age of 12 and her lengthy theater career consists of a list of really important chorus roles. Her dreams are finally culminating in the prime of her career... OMG Improv! The longest standing member of 4 years, OMG Improv seems to fit Kate like a fat lady in a really tight leotard shopping at Walmart. She wants to thank you for your support in watching her perform and for liking OMG on facebook, and apologize for wasting your time in reading this. Ha ha, sucker.

Laura Élan is a certified electrical engineer and cybersecurity consultant and there’s nothing funny about that. Since she can’t draw cartoons and Scott Adams pretty much tied that market up with his Dilbert franchise, she ventured to Second City where she graduated from their Improv Program and began a long and chaotic second career as an improv artist (just in case this cybersecurity consulting thing goes south). She has studied improv at iO and the Annoyance Theatres and no matter what anybody says, Chicago is the BEST city for improv. And no matter what Dave Nadolski says, she’s been doing improv way longer than 11 years so she is actually the dinosaur of the OMG Improv troupe. She has been a member of OMG Improv since 2014 and is continually impressed and dazzled by the talent and creativity of her cohorts, both long term and extemporaneous.

Mr. Kenneth M. Lubinski, Esq., has honed his comedy craft by studying the history of the fine art of humor. He has spent the past several decades in deep study in an effort to find the root of hilarity. Mr. Lubinski’s moderately sharp wit and partially acid tongue have occasionally brought audiences to tears. He has been known to almost send audiences into convulsive laughter by the use of a somewhat well-timed look. His roster of characters, while varied, are all slightly disguised versions of himself, thus bringing sort-of a depth and insight to his scene-work. In his spare time, Mr. Lubinski practices law.

Nathan Kis is fresh out of high school and zip zap zopping about the stage giving laughs and creating smiles. This young buck got his first taste of the world of improv at the ripe old age of 15 in a drama class. After this class it sparked the inner entertainer within him and off he went making funny voices, and using that quick wit of his to make some comedy. While he may not have any official credits to his name, what he does have is more potential than wrecking ball held up by a string. There's no stopping this guy from going for broke and doing the best he can in the world of improv comedy.

Maxwell (Max) Romza - Once a big fish in a small pond, Max found his way to Oakton through a slew of unforeseen circumstances. At age 16, his first participation in theater was motivated by his desire to be in a musical with his starlet girlfriend. However, his high school drama department took a liking to his charisma, motivation, and raw potential. Landing the lead role with no prior experience in acting, singing, dancing, or anything of the dramatic sort, Max took his newfound opportunity by the horns and has never looked back. Since then, he has partaken in multiple plays and musicals, even taking his high school’s production of “Peter and the Starcatcher” to the Illinois High School Theatre Festival for the school’s first time in over a decade (as the token role of Peter Pan, no less)! With only roughly a semester of improv under his belt, though, Max is but the wide eyed learner on OMG and is ecstatic to have the opportunity to learn and hone his craft. Once a gymnast and athlete, he excels in physical comedy and loves to throw a flip into performance whenever possible. Still coping with the fact that he’s not a teenager anymore, Max seeks to bring a smile to the face of anyone he can through his wit, charm, and dashing good looks.

Carey Goldenberg is helping instill some improvisation foundations into the
OMG ensemble. Carey had his first public performance in the seventh grade
and the audience was immediately entered into the Witness Protection
Program. His passion for Mime was formally initiated when he self trained at
Oakton Community College before matriculating to Grand Valley State in
western Michigan. He joined the United Stage and toured to seven states,
highlighted by the performance at the Kennedy Center for the Performing
Arts.
Returning to Chicago, he joined the Second City Touring Company and was
in the original cast in the ETC Theater. His extensive touring schedule
enabled him to visit over thirty states and perform for over a million people.
They have since been released from the same witness Protection Program.
Concurrently with those activities he started an Ultimate frisbee team
subsequently won the United States Championship followed by a World
Championship.
After his stint teaching Improvisation for another fifteen years, he
transferred his talents to the Chicago Public Schools. As Math teacher and a
Guidance Counselor, he was able to inspire many students to follow their
muses. After a successful run as a Debate coach and Judge with the New
Trier High School Team, he sought greater challenges and a new purpose.
Carey has taken his talents into the role as a Career Coach at the National
Able Network. He helps clients get Jobs and has ventured into podcasting,
using the ‘Ultimate Career Coach’ moniker.
This is first time working with OMG.

There are approximately 3,966 Ben Smith's in the United States, but this is the only Ben Smith who's going to start his biography by telling you that. After graduating Wesleyan University's prestigious film program, Ben fled back to his hometown of Chicago like a babe forcing re-entry into the womb. While it's not entirely clear what transpired after that except the obvious which is about 10 years, a passerby called into WGN one day with a startling claim: Ben Smith is alive, has five receipts for classes taken at The Second City, and is now apparently making his living as a kind of a movie director-editor-actorish-produceroid-screenwriter boy.

Roman Mitchell is a nineteen year old actor and theatre student at Columbia. I'm majoring in Acting with a focus in theatre acting and minoring in theatre directing. I've taken a couple classes at second city for improv and have done improv for fun at my school and with friends for years. I’m excited to join OMG improv because I’m going to be able to learn more about and practice fun improv techniques; Something I haven't been able to do in a while due to the pandemic

Dave Hoffman (Uncle Dave) has no professional comedy training, love being on stage and making folks laugh. He has been part of OMG Improv since 2013. My nephew got me to audition and I have not looked back.

My name is Danny Nadolski. I am a video game content creator. I am new to the improv world on stage, but have done some entertainment through gaming and streaming role play. I am partnered and affiliated on a website called Fruitlab, and have a small following on TikTok as well.
I am a person who has stuck to the gaming world until this year. I joined OMG Improv to better my talents with amazing people. I enjoy making others laugh and it is important to me to learn new ways of doing it.
